El Vecino
de Picasso (Picasso's Neighbor) is an alternative explanation to Picasso's
famed Blue period. As legend has it, Picasso went through a period of
his life when he preferred to only paint in blue because his best friend,
Cassagamas, had committed suicide and sent Picasso into a deep depression.
This movie
takes the approach that Cassagamas (Picasso's neighbor) was trying to
paint his house blue but was driven insane by Picasso who constantly
stole his blue paint.
