Civilian Justice & Ravedactyl:(Project:Evolution)

I was enlisted by Graig F. Weich of Beyond Comics Inc. to add special effects to various video clips for his Civilian Justice and Ravedactyl:(Project:Evolution) trailer (viewable at his website), featured at his website. Beyond Comics Inc. is a production company that creates comic books, sculptures, toys, animation, 3-D characters, movie-special effects and more! Graig F. Weich in the president and has been teaching Comic book & F/X art classes in N.Y. since 1990.

Graig sent the original video clips to me over the Internet. The clips were in DV format, recorded with a high end DV camera. Special effects were added and the video clips (DV format) were returned over the Internet. Estimated total amount of work at around 40 hours.

Versions of the Civilian Justice and Ravedactyl:(Project:Evolution) trailer were displayed at the Javits License Show in mid June 2002.

VIDEO SPECIAL EFFECTS

Gunner I was tasked to do numerous gun blast effects. In this case, the video clip included the actor from Clueless & TV’s NBC's Scrubs, Donald Faison. As you can see, he has plenty of fire power! Total Number of Gun Blast Effects: ~300 Total Length of Video: 1'04''

Hero Vs. Bag Guys Additional gunshot blast effects. Our hero, Ravedactyl, narrowly dodges gunfire from two attackers. Total Number of Effects Shots: 4 Total Length of Video: 0'06''

Terrorists Attack Attacking terrorists! Need I say more? Total Number of Gun Blast Effects: ~475 Total Length of Video: 0'58''

Civilian Justice Flag To compliment the attacking terrorists is Civilian Justice deflecting bullets with his bullet proof flag. Total Number of Effects Shots: ~250 Total Length of Video: 0'57''

Civilian Justice Nun Chucks Additionally, Civilian Justice deflects the terrorist gunfire with his nun chucks. Total Number of Gun Blast Effects: ~500 Total Length of Video: 0'57''
