Experiments in Real Life
Making a paperclip come to life was an experiment in stop motion anmation. Using a number of bent paper clips, a magnet, and a series of images can be put together to appear as if it is walking. I used a 3D program with a manquine figure to produce a reference image for a 30 second walk cycle. The reference image and sample videos can be seen through the links below.
