Only Shadow
Keep only the shadow of your text without matching colors, an invisible font.

Make your text layer, color is irrelevant.

| STEP 2 |
Add a layer drop shadow (Layer>Layer Style>Drop Shadow). I increased the distance for effect.  |
| STEP 3 |
In the layers tab, find the Fill: % setting and set it to 0.
In my version, I added a dirty paper background to emphasize the effect. |
